Our Designs Shine. Our Landscapes Thrive. Our Clients Glow.

See Sample Plans Below:

Every project is unique therefore the few samples below do not illustrate all possibilities.

The type of plan and process that fits your needs will be suggested at the end of your Initial Consultation. Appropriate additional samples will be shown at that time.

PLANTING PLANS
Design for plants only (trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, edibles) NOT hardscapes (walls, deck, patio, driveway, etc.). These scaled plans contain a full legend listing common and botanical names including selection of specific cultivars. This sample is hand drawn.
We also do CAD plans

BELOW IS A SAMPLE OF OUR 3 STEP PROCESS

For projects that require design of hardscape, outdoor living areas or garden rooms we typically begin by providing one to three ideas of how the size, shape and location of all the major elements can be arranged.

We call these "Conceptual Design Options" (CDO). After you choose the idea you love, we develop that concept further by addressing aspects such as grading, drainage, height of walls, materials, etc. That plan is called the "Conceptual Master Plan (CMP).

The "Planting Plan" (PP) would then follow.

On simple projects, the CMP and PP can be combined on one sheet of paper. These samples are drawn with our computer program (CAD).

Sometimes, we recommend hand drawn plans instead.

Sample Conceptual Design Options
3 scaled 'Conceptual Design Options' (on left of image) were created first.

After client choose "Option C", the Conceptual Master Plan was created. This laid out the major features of the site: lawn, play area, sand pit, veggie garden, butterfly garden, paths, steps, walls, plants needed for privacy & shade. It also illustrates concept for sand pit, steps, and play set.

The Planting Plan was then created within the framework established in the Conceptual Master Plan.

MANY OF OUR PROJECTS ARE FAR MORE COMPLEX THAN THE ONES SHOW ABOVE.

When needed for ARC or HOA approval we also produce plans for site planning, permit application, construction details, etc.

Samples sent upon request.
